Granadilla belongs to the family of the fruits of passion. It has a circular shape, weighs between 110 and 125gr and a diameter between 5 and 7.5cms. The skin is strong, thick and smooth orange. The pulp consists of small black and edible seeds covered with a juicy, crystalline, transparent and gelatinous texture. Its flavor is sweet and has a pleasant aroma.

BENEFITS OF THE GRANADILLA

Granadilla is an excellent source of potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and fiber. It helps provide essential vitamins for the body such as vitamin B1, B2, C and provitamin A. It also contains proteins and carbohydrates.
